About

Too Much Trumpet was created to make community trumpet ensembles. While professional groups can come about through this program, the mission of this project is to inspire a love of trumpet playing through trumpet ensemble music for trumpeters of all ability levels.

First started in 2014 as a holiday trumpet event with professionals through elementary students, the members of the first chapter in Massachusetts loved making music and sharing that support among the first 20 person ensemble. As the years progressed, we had 50 piece trumpet ensembles, jazz trumpet ensembles at local jazz clubs along with clinics and other experimental projects.

The new mission for TmT is to help create a method for trumpeters to create there own community trumpet ensembles. Whether for beginners, professionals, “come-back musicians” or whatever other category you fit into, TmT wants to inspire the creation of trumpet ensembles!

With an extensive knowledge of what goes into creating trumpet ensembles, I will be traveling to universities, grade schools and community projects to help bring the creative and organizational techniques needed to develop trumpet ensembles.
